In an earlier episode I showed how to change the PREMIER+™2 icon to one I concocted using the embroidery software.
In this video I show that PREMIER+™2 has embedded in its executable file the icon for use on the desktop, to differentiate it from the regular PREMIER+™ icon. Simple. Enjoy!
Learning the tools in the PREMIER+™2 and PREMIER+™ Embroidery Systems will help us become proficient digitizers, and it will allow us enjoy them to the fullest. Have fun!
Is This a Glitch?
I imported only the numbers and the upper case “letters” from an “alphabet font” into PREMIER+™ 2 using the new Font Manager. Then I used the imported font in the Lettering tab. Note: Alphabet fonts are, in reality, embroidery designs made to look like letters.
The upper case letters worked well. In fact, the quality of the newly-created fonts is amazingly good! And importing them makes it possible to use these in the Lettering tab of the Extra module.
Importing the upper case “letters” only, though, causes an unforeseen problem (see image above): If lowercase letters are entered in the letter box, these will not be converted to uppercase letters, as are the fonts in the font gallery. What happened? It is possible this is a glitch in the engine running the fonts – next step is Software Support, to ask what might be happening.
